Privacy Policy — QuickKit Extension

1. Data We Collect

We collect nothing. The QuickKit browser extension has no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, and no telemetry of any kind.

2. How Your Files Are Handled

Every tool — PDF manipulation, image editing, video and audio conversion, text utilities, calculators, and creative tools — processes your files entirely inside your browser on your own computer. Your files are never uploaded to any server. When you close the extension, no file data persists anywhere.

3. Local Storage

The extension saves a few small preferences to your browser's local storage, on your device only:

• Your AI Chat API key, if you choose to enter one (used solely to call the AI service you authorize)
• Your Daily Planner entries and Quit Smoking Tracker progress

This data never leaves your device and can be removed at any time by clearing the extension's data or uninstalling it.

4. Network Requests

Two features may make network requests, and only when you actively use them:

• Background Remover: downloads an AI model file (approximately 40 MB) from staticimgly.com on first use. The model is cached by your browser. Your images are processed locally — they are never sent to any server.
• AI Chat: if you enter your own Anthropic API key, your chat messages are sent directly to api.anthropic.com to generate responses. This is governed by Anthropic's own privacy policy. Without an API key, AI Chat works fully offline.

5. Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, rent, or trade any data with third parties, because we do not collect any data in the first place.

6. Children's Privacy

The extension does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

7. Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a revised date.
